ACCOMPLISHMENT RECORD
One of your resume objectives is showing a potential employer just how valuable you are and how you can help his/her company accomplish their corporate goals. One way to do this is through an Accomplishment Record.
The Accomplishment Record provides an overview of what you have done in past positions. It's also a good way to map out your accomplishments and their results.
You will also want to list any awards, bonuses, promotions, etc. in the RESULTS area. Remember to quantify your results. Always use quantifiable and tangible numbers where possible. A possible employer needs to know that you have helped your present or previous company succeed and they need to know by how much. This valuable information should be transferred to your resume and will also help you write your cover letter.
I personally recommend taking your time in filling this out. When you have finished, sit back and read over it slowly. You will be surprised at how many skills and accomplishments you actually have. This is also an excellent tool in building your confidence level. You will be selling yourself during an interview and confidence in knowing what you have done, plus what you can do, will help you impress the interviewer.
